A register of sourced findings on Israel and Palestine since October 2023
The same standard applies to every party. Government sources from all sides are admissible and none of them is neutral: when we quote one, we mark it as a party's position — the Israeli State Comptroller and the Palestinian Ministry of Health alike.
Each entry links one finding to the exact document that establishes it — organisation, title, date, and the precise place inside it: a page, a section, a paragraph. Nothing is reported “in general”.
What this is not
| Not a fact-checker | we do not rate claims. There is no verdict field anywhere on this site, including in the markup a search engine reads. |
| Not a news feed | findings are entered when they can be sourced exactly, not when they are current. |
| Not complete | a broad inventory and a complete one are different things. This one is broad. |
| Not a publisher of other people's text | we carry the finding, the source and the location. We do not reproduce reports. |

- The same study estimates that, in the first three months of the war, 23,597 children (95% CI 22,906–24,310) lost one or both parents, which the authors call “significantly higher than the list of 15,173 orphans released in May by the Palestinian MoH in Gaza” (the study dates that list 1 May 2024).
